Call to Freedom is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Grants Management Specialist to research, write, and manage grants that fund programs supporting survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify funding opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Write persuasive grant proposals, applications, and reports aligned with organizational priorities
- Conduct strategic prospect research and stay aware of trends in human trafficking, exploitation, and technology-facilitated abuse
- Track deadlines, requirements, and deliverables for all active grants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and private funder regulations
- Maintain detailed grant records and databases; prepare programmatic and budget modification requests as needed
- Support funder relations by providing updates, reports, and participating in meetings, events, and conferences
- Monitor grant project spending and propose adjustments to ensure alignment with budgets and grant requirements
- Conduct quarterly monitoring of subgrantees and prepare impact reports for funders and the President & CEO
- Collaborate across departments to collect program data and support federal/state drawdowns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, English, social studies, or related field preferred
- Experience with grant writing, research, and compliance management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong time management; able to manage multiple projects independently
- Self-directed, flexible, and collaborative in a team environment
Additional Requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work full-time, standard office hours
