Occupational Therapy Manager

Lead with Purpose. Empower Healing. Transform Lives.

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about leadership, innovation, and helping others reclaim their independence?

At Call to Freedom, you'll have the opportunity to do more than provide therapy—you'll lead a dynamic occupational therapy program that empowers survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation to heal, rebuild, and thrive.

This is more than a management position. It's an opportunity to create meaningful change every day while leading an exceptional team dedicated to restoring hope through trauma-informed care.

What You'll Do

As the Occupational Therapy Manager, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of occupational therapy professionals.
  • Develop and expand innovative occupational therapy programming for survivors.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services when needed.
  • Collaborate with case managers, counselors, advocates, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure holistic, client-centered care.
  • Ensure services reflect evidence-based and trauma-informed best practices.
  • Monitor program outcomes and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture while supporting staff development.
  • Help shape the future of occupational therapy services at Call to Freedom.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a compassionate leader who combines clinical excellence with a heart for service.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Occupational Therapy license in South Dakota (or ability to obtain licensure).
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years clinical experience.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for serving vulnerable populations through a trauma-informed approach.
  • Ability to think creatively, solve problems, and inspire others.

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't your typical occupational therapy management position.

At Call to Freedom, you'll work with survivors who are rebuilding their lives after trauma. Occupational therapy becomes a powerful pathway to healing—helping individuals establish healthy routines, develop life skills, increase independence, build confidence, and achieve meaningful goals.

You'll have the unique opportunity to:

  • Lead one of the region's most innovative occupational therapy programs serving survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
  • Balance leadership with meaningful client interaction.
  • Collaborate with an incredible multidisciplinary team that believes healing happens together.
  • Help shape the future of trauma-informed occupational therapy.
  • Experience the profound reward of seeing lives transformed through meaningful occupation.

If you're looking for a career with purpose—not just another job—this is your opportunity.
